As the owner and agency principal, John specializes in group employee benefits, medicare, health plans, and individual health insurance. His agency represents over 40 insurance carriers and assists individuals and employers with all their healthcare needs. He has dedicated his career to building close, long-term relationships with clientele based on trust and exceptional service.

As a 30+ year veteran in the healthcare insurance profession, John is committed to ongoing professional development. He is a graduate of the University of California Irvine with a degree in Economics and holds the following industry designations:

John was raised in the Coachella valley and believes in giving back to his community. He has served on various boards including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Desert, First Tee of the Coachella Valley, Leadership Coachella Valley, PIRHA, and the Inland Association of Health Underwriters. He currently sits on the 2022 Board of the Desert Recreation Foundation and is President of the Dr. Carreon Foundation.

In his spare time, John can be found on the golf course, hiking, taking dance lessons, and spending quality time with family and friends.

LORENA AYENI

Account Executive

Prior to joining John Henry Insurance Services, Lorena worked in career services for College of the Desert where she successfully established business partnerships in support of student success and education. She also worked in the hospitality industry as a Group Sales Manager for Hyatt.

Lorena Currently manages health insurance and group benefits for groups of up to 100 employees. She is bilingual and her fluency in Spanish adds greatly to the comfort level of her clients and their specific needs. She explains health care plan options in detailed form and makes it applicable to real life situations in order to assist her clients in making informed decisions regarding their health care.

Lorena embraces new experiences, values diversity, and has lived in beautiful Japan and Monterey, CA. She now resides in the Coachella valley where she was raised. She participates regularly in community activities involving organizations close to her heart. In her spare time she enjoys everything outdoors, running, golf, tennis, and spending time with her family.

Lorena is passionate about learning from others and looks forward to making a positive impact in every encounter with her clients.
